The best opportunity to explore your spirituality
As the new year ushers in another year of hope and exciting possibilities, an often ignored part of our lives is our spiritual goals for the year. There are many reasons for this. The most common among them is that there are too many facets in our lives, all needing some sort of focus and planning as each new year begins. At other times, we feel excited about doing something new and changing our lives. So we make changes to our lives voluntarily.
It’s hard to revisit our spiritual state with complete honesty and prioritize an improvement this year. That’s because the self-assessment of our subtler spiritual state can be challenging. Spirituality is an ocean and the deepest of them all. Since we cannot know its depths, we cannot also know our position relative to the most profound state possible.
That’s where Sahaja comes in. Through many of our tools, approaches and guidance, we can help make a big difference in your spiritual journey this year.
How to be in Seventh Heaven
The dictionary describes the Seventh Heaven as a state of intense happiness and extreme joy. That is, of course, if one were to exclude the religious definitions for that phrase. Yet, whether religion or the casual use of the phrase, human beings have never had a tangible and realistic way of realizing such a state and actually experiencing it in their lives.
You can definitely achieve this in Sahaja and live it fully. It is real, practical and well within reach if you are willing to focus and work hard. The results are, of course, well worth it.
Here’s how you can experience that state, or better still, spend a more substantial part of your conscious life being in that state. Here’s also why it can be elusive in today’s world of distractions and a tremendous downward force pulling us down and away from that blissful state.
Planning your success for the next decade – Part 2
We’re into a new decade now. In our last article, we made a case for how spirituality and good health are ultimately the two most important aspects in our lives.
Every other goal, dream, accomplishment or ambition falls in line automatically and has a higher chance of being realized once we become spiritual.
What if we all spend this new decade prioritizing these two aspects?
What would it feel like to establish your spiritual life and how might this journey look like?
From New York to Shanghai in 39 Minutes
Earlier today, I was reading an exciting article on superfast space travel that is predicted to become an alternative for flight travel greater than 10 hours. According to this rocket can be used for commuting between two destinations on the earth, like New York and Shanghai. And the trip can be made in 39 minutes! Apparently, this type of travel is going to become a $20B market by 2030. Here’s the interesting article.
And so, while all the news was exciting, the key question that always comes up in my mind is: with so much saving of time in the mundane activities in our lives, what do we really do with the freed up time? Where does one redirect the attention that is now at our disposal?
The 10 Defining Tenets of Spirituality
As we’ve always maintained, one of the biggest obstacles the world has is to understand the real meaning of Spirituality and not confuse it with related concepts like religion or other philosophies.
Spirituality is important because our meditation is centered around discovering your inner self through an inner subtle instrument within us. This means that meditation and spirituality are part of the same concept and truth and inseparable.
